You’ve come to the right place if you’re looking for more than just a quick fuck. If “depth” means more to you than something measured in centimetres, we might get along rather well… and yes, a healthy dose of humour — including the darker, questionably appropriate kind — will probably come in handy around me.

WHO AM I?

I like contrasts: moments when silence suddenly turns into laughter; a mix of hedonism, stoicism and whatever other -ism seems appropriate at the time; checking the time only to completely lose track of it; conversations without masks, while still occasionally hiding awkwardness behind irony.

And that’s exactly how dates and encounters can be, too. There’s really only one thing they should never be: boring.

I like people, not puppets. And preferably people without a permanent stick up their arse.

Speaking of sticks… I’m drawn to the darker, kinkier side of desire — not just for the play itself, but for the trust, intensity and intimacy it can create.

Then again, some of the deepest connections need no kink at all. Sometimes tantra will do it. Sometimes it’s simply holding someone’s gaze long enough for everything else to fade away.

I love that moment when intensity makes me quieter rather than louder, when I become completely calm, present and attentive, whether the experience is emotional, sexual or adventurous.

And I love the magic of those moments when something genuinely new emerges instead of everyone following a script they’ve already rehearsed. For that to happen, you really only need one thing: self-love and love for others.(Alright, technically that’s two.)

I like people who have a story to tell — not people who just tell stories. Substance impresses me far more than a polished facade.

My greatest strength (and probably one of my weaknesses) is that I rather like myself and the life I’ve built. I can overthink things, and I sometimes hide behind irony. I know I’m not perfect, and I think that’s exactly what makes life interesting.

Too polished, too flawless, too Barbie-and-Ken? Not really my thing.

So what makes you imperfect — and therefore interesting?

WHAT I’VE FOUND

For almost 15 years, I’ve had an extraordinary woman by my side. She’s taught me more about love than I’ve ever found written anywhere.

That depth gives us freedom and space — for other bodies, new connections and even other hearts, without jealousy defining what we have.

Love, as far as I’m concerned, isn’t a scarce resource.

We’re originally from Germany and spend October through April in Blenheim. So while our roots are on the other side of the world, New Zealand is becoming a real part of our lives and we’d love to build genuine connections here, whether that means friendship, shared adventures, chemistry, play… or something none of us saw coming.

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

Learning something new — but even more so, experiencing something new.

Nature in all its beauty and uncompromising power. I can happily sit somewhere for hours just taking it in. Even better with someone beside me who understands that silence doesn’t always need to be filled.

And, less philosophically: good food and a cold beer.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR

1. Beautiful people — and I mean that far more in terms of soul than skin — whose company I genuinely enjoy.

2. A rope bottom / rope bunny to explore with and keep developing my rope skills.

Anything beyond that? I’d rather discover than define it.
