Hi.
First off - there's a Wellington Dogging "Group" on here. Although it doesn't seem that active yet.
I used to have a small bit of luck down at Princess Bay, before they did it up. Have met a few guys at the bathrooms there (which are now closed) - both on my own, and with my girlfriend (of the time).
Since it's been done up, there seem to be a lot more people down there just for the view, and I haven't seen a single other dogger
The other spot my wife and I've had luck with is Peka Peka Beach. The bit off Te Hapua Road is a Nudist beach. But if you head up into the dunes, you'll see a few people wandering or playing. Mostly guys again, but that's usual for the scene.
Almost always people there during a sunny weekend day.
Otherwise it seems dogging hasn't really taken off here. We're in the same boat, visiting supposed potential sites without ever seeing anyone there.
Haven't tried Wallaceville Hill Road yet. Thinking we should check that out next time we're feeling playful.
