Peka Peka Beach is all good this Sunday and next weekend too. If you don't know the way, just go down Te Hapua Road to the parking area at the end, then take the access track about 300m to the beach. Then head north on the beach for about 500m until you see some driftwood bivvy shelters on the edge of the sandhills just above the beach. That's where all the fun is on any fine summer or autumn day!! Look out also for cars parked on beach in front of the sandhills; that's a good sign too!
