PT what i know so far is most of our guys dont have power let alone net..
but i have received some texts from HB's, fordy, CC's and fran and grum saying they are scared, some have damage but all are alive.
I also believe RJ has been in chat and her family are fine but their home may not be.
I hope they will check in when they can but we all have to be patient

OK guys thanks to all of you for the concerns for all of us down here going through this horrible time. It is scarey and awful ...im still shaking myself.

Just letting you all know that I am thinking about you all at this dreadful time and sending you my love. if anyone would like a night or two in dunedin just to get away from the stress whenever they want I have a spare bedroom. This is not a pickup but a genuine offer. I was born and bread in ChCh so my soul is in that place. Thinking of. Frangruwm. HB. wee-nympho-girl , fordy, RJCHch and all who I haven't met yet.

Hi all,
Just a few words to say we and many others are thinking of all our friends in chch at this time. May everyone come through this ok and intact.
On another note. Hubby and I are supposed to be in Chch on the 10th March for 4 days. We have no wish to cancel this but would like to channel our 4 days to doing some good for the people who need it and would like some help. We are offering ourselves for as much or as little of those 4 days to helping anyone who needs some DIY, cleaning and just generally sorting out anything that needs doing.
If anyone wants to take us up on this offer..so long as we get a cuppa and bickie lol then leave me a message please.

We're just hearing about this terrible breaking news on morning telly here in the UK. I know there's nothing practical we can do to help, but please know that the rest of the world are thinking of those affected. Here's hoping that all of the KS family are okay.

Hey all, Just confirming what kitty said, hubby, kids and I are OK. House is surrounded with knee to hip high liquifaction and sewage, the bridge has moved on our drive, We have No water, sewage ( unless you count what it throught the yard... LOL ) or Power. It will be a while before we expect to get power back as i believe its been cut when the bridge has moved in the drive, so its not looking good for being home in a hurry... For all of you in ChCH ... if you are stuck or in need of help feel free to message me and i'll do what i can to help as im about with helping others already most days and have access to an excellent 4X4 if needed... Take care Chch ppl... we will get thru it...
