There has been recent changes on the site regarding media especially in regards to Adult Content. A new "Legal" link can be viewed at the bottom of all pages. This link will take you to:
- The Acceptable Use Policy
- Anti-slavery Policy
- Content Policy
- Cookies Policy
- Privacy Policy
- Terms and Conditions.
I recommend all members read these policies, but this thread will focus on the Acceptable Use Policy and the Content Policy with regards to media. The Acceptable Use Policy states:
All photos and videos shall contain the account holder(s).It should not be possible to identify anyone else shown
- No person who appears to be under the age of 18.
- No identifiable people in the background.
- No email address, URLs or mobile/telephone numbers.
- Anything that is deemed to be too obscene or inappropriate for this site may be removed.
In simple terms:
All photos must contain the account holder this means you or some part of you must be in the photo. No cartoons, memes, landscape photos (unless you are in it), no sex toy collections (unless you are in the photo) etc.
There is an exception. You may upload cartoons, memes etc. to your Misc Album. This is an unmoderated album and the photos in this album can be shared in groups and wall posts. While it is unmoderated, any illegal content such as drugs, anyone under the age of 18 or contact information will be removed.
The Cover Images album is also a place you can upload your landscape photos, pictures of your car or sex toy collection. The only proviso is that Adult Content (genitals and close-ups of the groin area) is not permitted in this album and will be removed.
No person who appears to be under the age of 18. This is an R18 website. Please don't upload photos of your children, or photos with children in the background. These will be removed. New smart-phone filters that manipulate images to make you appear under 18 will also be removed.
No identifiable people in the background. This includes identifiable people on TVs or in photos in the backgrounds
Social media, messaging apps, phone numbers, email and website addresses contact details are not permitted.
Obscene or inappropriate content includes but is not limited to; scat, blood, drugs, underage sex, beastiality etc.
The new Content Policy will be coming into effect in the next few months. Already new members to the site are having their adult content media restricted to their profile page with "This User in Pending Verification" imposed over these images. A new ID and age verification process will soon be put in place, and in the future only those who have verified their account will be able to upload adult media.
Some of you will be aware that several large adult content websites recently purged all media from non-verified members in a effort to remove illegal, exploitative and non consensual content from the internet. The new Content Policy aligns Swingers Heaven with these other adult content providers.
