Bumping into someone you know at CCK

Hey guys, Mrs and I were discussing last night (we have been to cck 3 times now). About going to cck when time allows us as we enjoy it a lot. And how funny it would be bumping into someone we know while being there as could have a normal conversation with them at cck and then when we see them in a ‘vanilla situation’ there will be a cheeky smile / smerk as knowing we like / into the same things. Mrs on the other hand says it would be arwkard. Has anyone had that sort of meeting happen with them?? How did it go?? We know of one couple who go to the Sunday roasts , but they don’t know we go to cck. Would you go to the Sunday roast knowing you may bump into them and see how it goes??

We've bumped into people we know, wasn't awkward at all, depends on the folks involved I guess.

I have bumped into vanilla friends before at the club - it was quite awkward 😅 despite us all being obviously open minded and there for the same reasons.

Not quite as bad as once I went to CCK a couple of years ago with my lovely friend - and my date saw her MOTHER there at the club!!! 😱😳🤯😵

Ran into one of my sister's bridemaids who was also the ex wife of a freind, so she was the only bridesmaid I never liked. She also brought with her two other ladies who were also freinds of my sister. Just acted cordially and never heard another thing about it. None of them are anyone I ever expect to run into again.

That is the best story ever. Need to write that into a comedy.

I was there with a group when another group arrived.

One of the girls in the second group used to work for me.

Slightly awkward, we just kept our distance for the evening.

NZ is tiny. I bump into people at the club that I have worked with and know from the industry I work in. It has never caused any embarrassment or been an issue.

We socialise with a lot of lifestyle friends in a vanilla environment, at home and at the club. Looking forward to the Xmas Party tonight.
