OPERATIONAL UPDATE
Thank you to all of you who have been in touch wishing us well and enquiring about reopening prospects. It is true that it's been a long time and Covid has forced us to postpone functions time after time. (For those guests affected, thank you for your understanding).
With the PM's recent announcements regarding the Traffic Light system and the very strong indication that we will be at 'Colour Red' in Auckland at the end of this month, we do now have a clearer picture of our pathway forward.
Here's a summary of where we're at as at the 12th of November, 2021:
1. Covid has closed CCK until 01 December, or, when the Traffic Light system is introduced.
2. Weekly Friday night , Saturday night and Sunday evenings 4pm to 9pm with limitations to numbers as per covid protocol , will commence from 01 December (Subject to Traffic Light Red being introduced).
3. Special December events, namely Skirts on the 17th, NZYS 18th and Bang Bang, 19th are scheduled to operate but are subject to Traffic Light Orange being announced by then.
4. New Years Eve. Operating as per Schedule.
5. If you wonder why the Christmas parties and any other event cannot operate, it is because the number of guests booked to attend these very popular events is too large and is in excess of that permitted under the 'Traffic Light' laws (Red)
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2022
We are very positive and excited about the prospects for 2022 and really, it's just around the corner! The reason for our optimism is that New Zealand is on track to attain an extremely high level of vaccination.
As you know, we at CCK announced very early on that our policy is to accept only double vaccinated guests and staff on the premises and to take fastidious measures ourselves with frequent deep cleaning protocols that are over and above.
During lock down we've not been resting but have been busy 'glamming up' the club even more and working on an exciting array of events in 2022 that will knock your socks off!
