guys and gals Safety is a big part of our lifestyle. Not just sexual health ( which is very important of course ) BUT also ensuring that if you are heading out alone that someone knows where you are going. Things like making sure you meet in a public place first, if you leave a meet with someone that you first make sure you feel safe leaving with them, that again someone at least knows where you will be and so on. As much as we mods, admins and site owners try to make KS a safe place for us all we cannot guarantee every member on the site. We cannot be in charge of your safety. If for some reason you have been in an unsafe situation then please remember that moderators are here to try to keep the site safe. Come and talk to us? I promise we are not as scary or as mean as some of us may appear lol

A couple of us were discussing safety measures the other day and I was surprised how far some took it. Tricks such as- -Telling a trusted friend what they were up to, where, when, with whom and how they met. -Emailing their own work email a letter explaining all of the above and then deleting it the following morning. The idea being if they don't return to delete the message their boss or workmate will pass the information on to the police. -Meeting in a public place and siting with your back to the CCTV cameras so the face of the person who you are meeting is facing the camera. -Before getting into a car they would make an excuse to use their phone and text or email their friend/work the car reg. And again when arriving at a destination the address or location. -pretending to text a friend but actually taking a pic of the person and sending it as above. -If things turn sour if you inform the other party that you have left such a trail, it may change the course of events and give you an escape. In the modern world of smartphones, for those of us armed with them, there is no excuses any more. Even caught in the moment or the snap decision after one too many drinks, these techniques can insure that you leave a trail should the worse happen. Because lets face it we all know it will never happen to us, but sooner or later it will happen to someone. Don't let it be you.

Caution is always a good thing, some may take it a bit far, however what price do you put on safety? Personal safety is especially an issue for single women or those who play alone. A text to a friend (would assume they know about your lifestyle) can be a good idea, if you are going with someone or away from a public place or to somewhwere unexpected. We have done exactly that in the past. Texted a friend with location, and car regos. A first meeting in public seems to be the normal proceedure. Guess it depends on if your are going on to play directly after. We always exchange face photos before meeting for a coffee or drink....if they dont match the person(s)... it is a no. Trust is a big part of the equation. Listen to your gut, if it feels wrong dont do it. A question; Would you object or allow having your photo taken (with your knowledge) so it could be sent to someone for security? If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear? After all, this is a person or persons you are going (we assume this is why you are leaving a public place) to have sex with.
