G'day Guys,

We need to have a bit of a chat regarding the recent increase in drug slang use in the Chatroom.  To start off lets have a read of the first two paragraphs of the Acceptable Use Policy:

  • Your account shall be terminated immediately and we may report you to the relevant authority if your behaviour on our website consists of any of the following:
    • Anything illegal and contrary to the laws of England, Wales and New Zealand, including (but not limited to!) the promotion, suggestion or allusion to underage sex, or any non consensual acts, hard drugs or any other kind of illegal activity.

The key term to note is "allusion to".  As cannabis is still illegal in New Zealand, any discussion, mention, suggestion, hint etc. is a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.

The moderator team understands that there is a drug culture in New Zealand and many members of this site are part of that culture, we fully respect those members personal choices but ask those members to understand that using Kiwi Swingers to promote illegal activity reflects badly on the site and its members as a whole.

"But what about medicinal cannabis? It's legal, can we discuss that?"

Sure, but medicinal cannabis is a prescription only drug for those suffering from chronic pain or diagnosed with a terminal illness assessed on a case by case basis, our chatroom which is primarily for people who enjoy sex and swinging to meet online it is hardly the place to thrash out a deep a meaningful conversation on government legislation and the health sector.  And while medicinal cannabis may be as legal as herbal tea, the context of the conversation is everything and if the moderator team feels the conversation isn't exactly about a refreshing cup of peppermint and chamomile tea, don't be surprised or offended if we ask you to change the conversation, clear the chat or send you a warning.

Feel free to ask questions below and we'll do our best to answer them.

Finally, in 2020 the government will hold a binding referendum on the legality of cannabis for personal use, the resulting legislation changes (if any) will dictate how we treat the topic of cannabis on this site.  So until then, please abide by the Acceptable Use Policy.
