What's with the search function? It really sucks I'm afraid. It just doesn't work if you're looking to find a profile. I spent ages trying to track down a profile I remembered from a few weeks back and no matter how I framed the search it came up empty. As a test I tried hunting for our profile. The filtering function doesn't work either. If you look for a couple in Otago, you won't find us. Why would that be? Our address is clearly listed as Dunedin but we do not show up in any Otago search.
Anyone else found this?

This issue should be sent to admin via a support ticket under the contact us section. I have no problem finding other members even if I only know part of their user name. I put this in the user name box down the bottom of the search page and check profile only. I may have to wade through 2 or 3 pages of results but 9 times out of 10 I find who I am looking for.

Well thanks for that. Sounds a bit complicated - a support ticket. Anyway, given your satisfaction withe the search capability, I wonder if you'd like to try and find my profile by searching "Otago" for a "couple" aged "40-50". We fit those criteria but don't come up in the results of a search along those lines. I'll have to ask why the right way.
