I have been asked to pass on some very sad news to our members.

A much loved member Dodgey1 passed away on the 2nd April 2011.

His funeral was held at 3pm in Dunedin on the 8th April 2011.

Dodgey was a huge part of our community and will be sorley missed by many here and remembered for a long long time by those he met online and in real life.
Our hearts go our to Dodgey's family and friends.

Dodgey's family have chosen to print out this thread and leave it with him today so that he knows just how much we all think of him. Thank you so much Smoothas, i am sure we all appreciate such a wonderful gesture

If any members need someoen to talk to on reading this please feel free to message me in chat or send me a mail. Dodgeys brother Smoothas will also check his mail but please be patient for responses as obviously his family is in a lot of pain right now.

This post will be left as sticky at least until the funeral and possibly longer in memory of Dodgey1

awwww i was just chatting to him the other day and damm he was cheeky ... my thaughts and preyers are with his family

Smoothas ( Dodgey's brother ) called today to let me know that Dodgey's funeral will be this friday at 3pm in Dunedin.
He has said that if anyone would like to know more information to please contact him through the site mail.

Today has been a hard day on everyone i think learnign this horribly sad news. Can i please ask for everyone to be mindful that Dodgey was very important to some of our fellow members in chat and to please be respectful during any conversations in regards to this post and Dodgey's passing.

For me, Dodgey was an amazing man. I remember many conversations when he just knew something was troubling me and with his caring and wit he would draw it out of me and make me feel so much better. I deeply regret not knowing him in person but hope he knows just how much he meant to me as a far away friend.

You really were one of the good guys. Your wave hello always brightened the evening - articulate, friendly and funny (and sexy!) - you will be sadly missed. I feel privileged to have known you. Rest easy my friend xxxx
